Huger st.

This Hampton Park remodel started off as a "railroad style" three-bedroom with an existing addition for extra living space in the rear. We handled the space planning and the goal was to incorporate an interior hall, offering each bedroom it's own entry space.
Opening the interior wall between the front entry and the living area made for a proper living area in the front of the home, with vaulted ceilings and an exposed brick fireplace. The existing rear addition was repurposed into a large primary suite with primary bath and large walk in closet. The kitchen is now accessible from the rear entry (with storage lockers), the center hall, and the front living area. Opening up the kitchen allowed space for the large stone island, ideal for food prep.
The space planning on this project enabled us to eliminate the "railroad style" layout and provide for a more efficient use of space, a private entry to each bedroom, an improved flow, and increased storage areas for a growing family.
